Teresa Estapé has a long history in the world of art and jewelry. Born in Barcelona, she has a degree in Law and Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and a diploma in jewelry from the Massana School. Her artistic practice combines jewelry, sculpture and installation and graphic arts.
Her work is part of the MACBA collection and has been exhibited among other places: Kunst Haus in Vienna, Galerie Bernhard Bischoff in Bern, Tsukuba University in Tokyo, the Havana Biennial, Arts Santa Mónica, Goethe Institut and Chiquita Room gallery in Barcelona. In 2015 he was awarded the Guasch Coranty scholarship for artistic creation.
Since 2017 he has given workshops and conferences at the Universidad Ramón Llull in Barcelona, at the Facultad de Arquitectura, diseño y urbanismo of the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and at the Museo del Diseño de Barcelona (DHUB).
She is represented by the gallery Chiquita Room, in Barcelona.
